The Prodigy Verdict
The Battle for the Ship.
The Disney Destiny is the third vessel in the Wish class, but it marks a distinct tonal shift. Where the Wish is a fairytale castle and the Treasure is an explorer's map, the Destiny is a comic book come to life. The "Heroes and Villains" theme is pervasive, from the Black Panther statue guarding the Wakanda-inspired Grand Hall to the cheeky villainy of De Vil's Piano Lounge. Crucially, it introduces Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a brand new dining show that replaces the Frozen/Coco venues found on its sisters.
- Marvel fanatics & Villain lovers (Cruella/Pirates)
- Repeat DCL cruisers wanting a new dining show
- Adults seeking themed nightlife (De Vil's/Cask & Cannon)
- Elevator Logic: Retains the Wish-class elevator layout (can be tight).
- Split Districts: Adult areas are spread out rather than clustered.
- Pricing: Commands a "New Ship" premium.
The Battlegrounds
Destiny is defined by its "Opposites Attract" zones, pitting heroes against villains in high-design spaces.
Grand Hall
Inspired by the Kingdom of Wakanda. A massive Black Panther statue stands guard, surrounded by Vibranium-inspired silver accents and armor detailing.
De Vil's Lounge
A piano lounge dedicated to Cruella. Expect a Hollywood Regency aesthetic in black, white, and red, with a spotted piano and "trendy" martinis.
Cask & Cannon
The dedicated pub. Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, featuring "plundered" treasures, rum flights, and a cozy tavern vibe.
The Sanctum
A mysterious lounge inspired by Doctor Strange. It features mystical artifacts and an intimate atmosphere perfect for craft cocktails.
Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion Parlor. A bar inspired by the classic ride, complete with spooky illusions, changing portraits, and thematic drinks.
AquaMouse
The attraction at sea returns with a new villain storyline. Join Mickey and Minnie as they face off against fearsome foes on this water coaster.
Hero Zone
A fully enclosed, climate-controlled sports arena. Features physical challenges and competitions (like the "Incredi-Games") for families.
Walt Disney Theatre
The premier show venue. Home to Broadway-caliber productions, including the new Disney Hercules stage show exclusive to this ship.
Dining & Provisions
Disney's signature "Rotational Dining" is anchored by the new Lion King venue, plus two adult-exclusive holdovers from the Wish.
Pride Lands
Feast of the Lion King
A dinner show featuring live musicians and storytellers. The room transforms from sunrise to sunset as you eat African-inspired dishes.
Worlds of Marvel
Cinematic Dining
"Avengers: Quantum Encounter." You play an interactive role in an Avengers mission using the Quantum Core on your table.
1923
California Classic
Named for the year the studio was founded. The most elegant of the main dining rooms, divided into "Walt" and "Roy" wings, serving California cuisine.
Marceline Market
Food Hall
The upper-deck buffet concept. Styled as a food hall with distinct stations, offering everything from fresh seafood to comfort classics.
Palo Steakhouse
Adult Exclusive
Italian-meets-Steakhouse. On Destiny, the decor is inspired by Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, featuring dark woods and clockwork motifs.
Enchanté
Fine Dining
The most premium venue, with a menu by Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. Inspired by Lumiere, it is light, airy, and exquisitely French.
Cask & Cannon
Pirate Pub
Serves "bootlegged" brews and rare rums. Menu includes pub bites like "Bangers and Mash" and the "Jolly Good" Brisket Burger.
Edna Á La Mode
Sweets Lab
Inspired by The Incredibles. A gelato and dessert lab where the "Supers" fashion designer fabricates sweet treats for guests.
Where It Sails
Disney Destiny sails from Fort Lauderdale, offering a mix of Bahamian and Caribbean escapes.
- 4-Night Bahamas (Castaway/Lookout)
- 5-Night W. Caribbean (Cozumel/Castaway)
These itineraries are designed to maximize island time, often visiting both of Disney's private destinations (Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay).

Cost Reality
Disney Destiny is a premium product. Fares are significantly higher than competitors, but the inclusion list is robust.
- Rotational Dining (3 Venues)
- Soda/Soft Drinks (Unique to DCL)
- Room Service (24/7)
- Kids Clubs (Oceaneer/Edge/Vibe)
- Adult-Exclusive Dining (Palo/Enchanté)
- Alcoholic Beverages (Cask & Cannon)
- Specialty Sweets (Edna Mode)
- Internet Packages
Don't skip the "Haunted Mansion Parlor." While drinks cost extra, the theming and "illusions" (changing portraits) are free to enjoy and are some of the best on the ship.
The Vibe Check
Is this ship for you? It is loud, proud, and heavily themed.
A mix of "Regal" and "Rebellious." The Grand Hall is imposing and majestic, while the lounges feel like secret hideouts for villains.
Families are the core, but the distinct "Villain" theming in the adult districts appeals strongly to millennials and child-free couples.

Cabin Recon
Destiny's staterooms continue the Wish-class design: "Storybook" motifs, plenty of storage, and split baths.
Verandah Stateroom
Spacious for the industry (approx 243 sq ft). Includes a heavy curtain to separate the sitting area (with sleeper sofa) from the queen bed.
Oceanview (Deck 2/3)
Often overlooked, the "porthole" rooms on lower decks are huge and sometimes cheaper than inside cabins on other lines. Great for motion sensitivity.
Destiny Tower Suite
The "Funnel Suite." A two-story penthouse located inside the forward funnel, themed to Iron Man (Tony Stark), offering industrial-chic luxury.
