The Prodigy Verdict
New Life in a Classic Hull.
Celebrity Summit may have launched in 2001, but you wouldn't know it from the inside. The "Celebrity Revolution" overhaul gutted the staterooms and added The Retreat, bringing it aesthetically in line with the Edge. It lacks the sheer volume of venues found on Reflection, but it compensates with excellent passenger flow, an impressive Thalassotherapy pool (which is free for adults), and a dedicated Rooftop Terrace.
- Couples preferring intimacy over mega-ship crowds
- Bermuda sailings (she is small enough to dock at King's Wharf)
- Fans of the "Classic" balcony (no Infinite Verandas here)
- Standard bathrooms are noticeably smaller than on Edge/Solstice class ships.
- Fewer specialty dining options than the larger fleets.
- No "Lawn Club" (replaced by the Rooftop Terrace).
The Zones
From the forward observation lounge to the aft Rooftop Terrace, the Summit is designed for views.
Rooftop Terrace
Located aft on Deck 12. A chic, open-air lounge with a large LED screen showing movies ("A Taste of Film") and sports events.
The Solarium
Home to the massive Thalassotherapy Pool (heated saltwater with jets). Unlike on Solstice Class, this is generally free for all adults.
Sky Lounge
The forward observation lounge on Deck 11. Offering panoramic views by day and turning into the ship's nightclub/disco by night.
Martini Bar
Smaller than on the Solstice class but retains the signature ice-topped counter and flair bartenders. Located on Deck 4.
The Retreat
Added during the 2019 Revolution. Includes a dedicated Sundeck (forward) and a private Lounge, elevating the suite experience significantly.
CafΓ© al Bacio
The European-style coffee house. A perfect spot for people-watching near the atrium. The pastries in the case are free; coffee costs extra.
Fortunes Casino
A classic layout with a mix of slots and tables. It connects directly to the Grand Foyer, adding energy to the central hub.
Sunset Bar
The aft bar on Deck 10. While smaller than on newer ships, it remains the premier spot for wake views and evening cocktails.
Dining & Provisions
Summit offers a strong variety of included dining, proving you don't need to pay extra to eat well.
Cosmopolitan
Main Dining
The two-story main restaurant featuring a dramatic glass wine tower. Serves breakfast, lunch (sea days), and a rotating dinner menu.
Oceanview CafΓ©
The Buffet
Located aft on Deck 10. Features global stations (pasta, stir-fry, carving) and an outdoor seating area with great views.
Pool/Mast Grill
Poolside Eats
Casual grill offering burgers, hot dogs, and fries. Perfect for a quick bite without having to change out of your swimwear.
Spa CafΓ©
Healthy Bites
Located in the Solarium. Offers complimentary light breakfasts and lunches (salads, smoothies, wraps) in a quiet, adults-only setting.
Tuscan Grille
Italian Steakhouse
Located Aft with wake views (Deck 11). Famous for homemade pastas, butcher cuts, and a robust Italian wine list.
Sushi on Five
Japanese
A la carte pricing. Offers sushi rolls, sashimi, and Japanese favorites. A popular spot for a light dinner or appetizers.
Le Petit Chef

Where It Sails
Celebrity Summit is a versatile ship, often found in Bermuda during the summer and the Caribbean in winter.
- Bermuda (King's Wharf)
- Caribbean (Western/Eastern)
- Canada & New England (Fall)
Summit's smaller size allows it to dock in ports where the mega-ships can't, or where they overwhelm the destination.

Cost Reality
Summit often provides a lower entry price than Edge-class ships, offering high value for the "Revolutionized" hard product.
- Cosmopolitan Dining (MDR)
- Oceanview Cafe (Buffet)
- Pool Grill & Spa Cafe
- Thalassotherapy Pool (Adults)
- Specialty Dining (Tuscan, Sushi)
- Persian Garden (Heated Loungers)
- Alcohol (unless in "All Included" rate)
- Gratuities
Since the Solarium T-Pool is free, you don't need a thermal suite pass as much as you do on other ships. However, AquaClass is still a great value for Blu dining.
The Vibe Check
Intimate and manageable. You can walk from bow to stern in minutes.
It feels less like a floating city and more like a traditional ship. The crew often remembers your name by Day 2.
Slightly older skew on longer Caribbean/New England runs; younger and livelier on 7-day Bermuda summer sailings.
