The Spacious Renaissance.
Under the new ownership of Abercrombie & Kent, the Symphony has undergone a transformation that defies industry logic. While most lines pack people in, Crystal kicked people out. By merging cabins into suites, they dropped passenger capacity from 960 to 606. The result is a ship that feels incredibly open, uncrowded, and personal.
Perfect For
- Lovers of classic, quiet luxury
- Foodies (Nobu at sea is a game changer)
- Travelers who want space, not waterslides
Considerations
- You need constant high-energy entertainment
- You are traveling with young children

The Zones
The refit focused on modernizing social spaces while keeping the classic bones.
Palm Court
The iconic observation lounge. Perfect for afternoon tea or a quiet cocktail while watching the bow wake.
Galaxy Lounge
The main showroom. Intimate and cabaret-style, avoiding the cavernous feel of mega-ship theaters.
Jade Pony
The new social space added during the refit. A dark, moody, and sophisticated spot for late-night conversation.
Crystal Life Spa
A feng-shui inspired retreat. Features a private relaxation deck and steam/sauna facilities included for all guests.
The Library
A true sanctuary featuring over 2,000 books. It remains one of the quietest and most comfortable spots on the ship.
Wimbledon Court
Full-sized paddle tennis and pickleball courts located on the top deck. A hub of activity for active cruisers.
Hollywood Theatre
A dedicated cinema showing recent releases and classic films, often accompanied by popcorn and lecture presentations.
Connoisseur Club
An elegant, wood-paneled lounge for fine cigars and cognacs. One of the few indoor smoking venues at sea.
Dining & Provisions
The culinary program is the crown jewel, headlined by the only Nobu at sea.
Umi Uma
Japanese / Nobu
The only Nobu Matsuhisa restaurant at sea. The Black Cod with Miso is legendary. One visit is included; extras carry a fee.
Osteria d'Ovidio
Fine Italian
The replacement for Prego. A more modern, northern Italian approach to fine dining.
Waterside
Open Seating
The main dining room. No shifts, no assigned tables. Just show up when you are hungry. White-glove service.
Tastes Kitchen
Global Tapas
Glass-enclosed rooftop venue serving global street food, from dumplings to tacos. Casual but high quality.
The Bistro
Parisian Café
The social hub. Serves specialty coffees, pastries in the morning, and charcuterie/wine in the evening.
Marketplace
Buffet
A high-end buffet with open kitchens and made-to-order stations. Transforms into a churrascaria at night.
Trident Grill
Poolside
Classic poolside fare including burgers, melts, and the signature "Scoops" ice cream bar.
The Vintage Room
Wine Dinner
An exclusive, educational dining experience featuring rare vintages and a dedicated sommelier. Reservations essential.
Where It Sails
Unlike ships stuck in a loop, the Symphony follows the seasons globally.
The Schedule
- Spring '26: Asia (Tokyo/Singapore)
- Summer '26: Alaska & Canada

Cost Reality
Crystal has a high entry price, but the "all-inclusive" nature is robust. Here is what that actually means.

- Pre-paid Gratuities
- Butler Service (All Suites)
- 1 Visit to Umi Uma & Osteria
Extra Costs
- Shore Excursions
- Spa Treatments
- Vintage Room Dinners

Prodigy Tip
The complimentary dining limit is strict. On voyages 11 days or less, you get 1 visit. 12+ days gets you 2. Plan accordingly.
The Vibe Check
Is this ship for you? It depends entirely on your need for tranquility versus stimulation.
Atmosphere
Quiet Luxury. Because of the reduced capacity, public spaces often feel empty (in a good way). No queues, no fighting for loungers.
Demographic
Mature, well-traveled, and social. While children are allowed, there are no waterslides or kids' clubs of note. It is an adult-focused environment.

Cabin Recon
The reduction in capacity means cabins were merged to create true suites.
Double Guest Room
The standard entry point. While smaller than the new suites, they have been refreshed with the new A&K aesthetic.
Sapphire Veranda Suite
The result of merging two old cabins. Features a walk-in closet and a spacious living area. This is the sweet spot for value/luxury.
Crystal Penthouse
Expansive luxury with butler service. If you want the "Private Yacht" promise to be fully realized, this is where you stay.
