The Original Spark.
The Disney Magic launched the line in 1998, but constant re-imagining has kept it relevant and competitive. Unlike the Art Nouveau Wonder, the Magic features a distinct Art Deco aesthetic with geometric patterns and bold colors. It is the only ship in the fleet to feature the AquaDunk, a trap-door drop slide that extends over the ocean. With the exclusive Rapunzel's Royal Table dining experience and the new Soul Cat Lounge, it blends classic ocean liner nostalgia with modern Disney IP.
- Thrill seekers who want the intensity of the AquaDunk (unique to this ship).
- Families who prioritize the Tangled (Rapunzel) theming.
- Travelers who prefer a navigable ship without the sprawl of the Wish class.
- Water Features: The AquaDunk has a height requirement of 48 inches and is intense; it is not a lazy river.
- Layout: The adult district (After Hours) is forward, unlike the aft location on larger ships.
- Dining: Animation Magic (drawing) is performed here, unlike the story-based show on Wonder.
