Rejects the "inward facing" mall design. Defined by the Deck 8 Boardwalk and connection to the sea.

The Prodigy Verdict

The Beach Condo.

MSC Seaside changed the visual language of the fleet. Instead of a floating block, the aft of the ship steps down like a Miami condo tower, offering unique suite layouts. The engine casing was moved forward to allow for a waterfront boardwalk on Deck 8 that wraps around the ship, packed with bars and outdoor dining. It is vibrant, loud, and European in flavor. The ship feels noticeably wider and more open to the elements than the older Fantasia class vessels.

Perfect For
  • Sun-seekers who prefer outdoor bars over indoor lounges.
  • Travelers looking for a "Yacht Club" experience at a competitive price.
  • Families who want a serious water park (Forest Aquaventure).
Considerations
  • Layout: The "Smart Elevators" can be confusing and cause delays during peak times.
  • Main Pool: The central pool deck is compact and gets extremely crowded on sea days.
  • Buffet: Deck 8 buffet is convenient but can feel smaller than standard upper-deck venues.
