A radical architectural departure. Defined by the Yacht Club and the stunning Venom Drop slide.

The Prodigy Verdict

The Game Changer.

MSC World Europa represents the biggest leap in MSC's history. It moves away from the inward-facing "shopping mall" design of the Meraviglia class to a Y-shaped structure that embraces the sea. The split superstructure creates a massive open-air promenade at the aft, home to the Venom Drop dry slide. It is a high-density, high-energy metropolis that feels more like a floating city than a traditional cruise ship.

Perfect For
  • Architecture enthusiasts who appreciate modern, futuristic design.
  • Travelers comfortable with a very international, multi-lingual environment.
  • Families wanting the largest kids' facilities in the fleet.
Considerations
  • Passenger Flow: The ship uses "Smart Elevators" which require you to select your floor outside. This can be chaotic at first.
  • Smoking: As a primary Mediterranean vessel, smoking is permitted in more areas than US-based ships.

The Districts

From the indoor LED sky screen to the open-air aft promenade, the ship is zoned to disperse the 6,000+ guests.

The Venom Drop

The architectural centerpiece. An 11-deck dry slide (The Spiral) that corkscrews from Deck 20 down to the promenade. The longest at sea.

World Promenade

The Y-shaped open-air aft deck. Flanked by internal-facing balcony cabins and lined with restaurants, it offers sea views and fresh air.

World Galleria

The indoor promenade featuring a massive LED sky screen ceiling that changes scenes throughout the day. The social hub for shopping and bars.

Masters of the Sea

A signature British pub that brews its own beer on board using desalinated ocean water. It spans two decks and features live music.

Botanic Garden

The pool area features a retractable roof and tropical greenery, allowing for swimming in any weather conditions.

MSC Yacht Club

The largest Yacht Club in the fleet. It occupies the prime forward real estate with its own restaurant, lounge, and a massive private pool deck.

High energy. The promenade parties can be loud. It is a true resort ship, not a quiet ocean liner.
