Unlike the newer, larger Nova class, the Whisper retains an intimate, club-like atmosphere where the staff learns your name by the end of the first day. It is an all-inclusive vessel where champagne, caviar, and excursions are part of the fare. While the hardware is older (launched in 2001), consistent refurbishments have kept the soft goods modern and fresh. It is a ship designed for travelers who prioritize destination access and service over water slides and gimmicks.

For a small ship, the variety is impressive. The quality of ingredients (lobster, prime beef) is high across all venues.
